曾德成先生担任“丝路青年梦想汇”评委

相聚一带一路，放飞青春梦想。“丝路青年梦想汇”荣幸地邀请到香港前民政事务局局长曾德成先生担任评委。

Get on the Road, Get to the Sky. Silk Road & Young Dreams Organizing Committee is honored to invite former Secretary of Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau Mr. Zeng Decheng (Tsang Tak-sing) to be a judge during the Silk Road & Young Dreams youth competition in August. Silk Road & Young Dreams youth competition will bring together outstanding young people, diplomats, entrepreneurs and other social elites from the Belt and Road countries, building a cultural platform for sharing the vision of the future of China and different countries under the “Belt and Road” initiative. 

曾德成先生曾被香港特别行政区第四任行政长官梁振英提名，被国务院任命为香港特别行政区第四届政府主要官员，担任民政事务局局长这一要职。香港民政事务局在曾德成先生的领导下，与香港市民同心协力，协助香港的行政管理工作。在曾先生的心目中，香港应该成为一个充满活力和爱心、人人融洽共处的社会，这样不仅有利于推动香港本土的社会发展，更能为特别行政区的发展打下坚实的基础。

Mr. Zeng Decheng was nominated by Mr. Liang Zhenying, the fourth chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He was appointed by the State Council as the principal official of the fourth government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and served as the Secretary for Home Affairs of Hong Kong.

Under the leadership of Mr. Zeng Decheng, the Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau has worked with the people of Hong Kong to assist Hong Kong's administration. In Mr. Zeng's mind, Hong Kong should become a society full of vitality and harmonious coexistence. This will not only help to promote social development of Hong Kong, but also lay a solid foundation for the development of special administrative regions.

曾德成先生关心文化事业发展 

曾先生不仅关心政治，而且对文体事业倍加关注。在他任职期间，大力促进艺术、文化、体育事业的发展，倡导文物古迹的保护与重建，美化环境，将市民生活更添姿采作为目标，使得香港地区不仅以高速发展的经济著称，而且文化生活的建设与发展成为彼时香港的一大特色。

Mr. Zeng Decheng is not only concerned with politics, but also pays close attention to the fields of culture and sports. During his tenure, he vigorously promoted the development of art, culture and sports, and advocated the protection and reconstruction of cultural relics and historic sites.

曾德成先生接受人民网采访：望香港在中国伟大文化复兴中扮演独特角色。

曾先生对文化事业的发展持关切态度，他曾表示“香港是一个开放的国际都会，与外界交流程度高，是中西方文化汇聚的地点。”“在‘一国两制’的基础上，香港与内地互补有很大余地。我希望香港在中国伟大文化复兴中扮演独特角色。”这与丝路青年梦想汇活动的宗旨不谋而合。

Mr. Zeng Decheng pays close attention to the development of cultural sphere. He once said that "Hong Kong is an international metropolis with a high degree of communication with the outside world. It is a meeting point of Chinese and Western cultures." "Based on 'one country, two systems' principle, Hong Kong and Mainland China have big perspectives for developing further complementarity. I hope that Hong Kong will play a unique role in the great cultural renaissance of China." This goes in line with the main idea of the "Silk Road & Young Dreams"

“丝路青年梦想汇”活动将“一带一路”国家的优秀青年、外交官、企业家等社会精英引入赛制，搭建文化平台，畅想在“一带一路”倡议下中国与不同国家的美好愿景，分享这一民心相通伟大工程在青年心中的感触。

"Silk Road & Young Dreams" is a platform where young entrepreneurs, diplomats,artists and students among other young talents from the cities along the “Belt and Road” in their minds as well as dreams of peace and development in their hearts, by participating in contests of speech, music and photography.
