Mr. Su Dabao, the pioneer of Chinese sand painting, the most influential contemporary Chinese sand painting artist.

“丝路青年梦想汇”，招纳“一带一路”青年才俊，集结摄影、演讲、音乐人才，为有梦想、有担当的各国英才提供展示自我，结交友谊的高端平台。苏大宝先生作为本次“梦想汇”活动的形象大使，将前卫的沙画艺术与本次比赛有机融合，使本次活动更具看点。

"Silk Road & Young Dreams" is looking for young talents along the  "Belt and Road" having outstanding skills in photography, speech and music. The event is providing a high-end platform for youth who have dreams and commitments to show their talents and capabilities as well as to make new friends. As the image ambassador of this “Silk Road & Young Dreams” event, Mr. Su Dabao will bring in his experience in sand painting art and education to make this event even more interesting and colorful.

苏大宝先生自幼研习书画艺术，深受中国传统文化艺术的熏陶。2004年，他将沙画引入中国，致力于通过新型的艺术形式继承、发扬、创新优秀的中国传统文化艺术，被誉为中国沙画第一人。

Mr. Su Dabao studied art of painting and calligraphy since young age and was deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture and art. In 2004, he introduced sand paintings to China, and ever since then has been committed to inheriting, developing and innovating excellent Chinese traditional culture and art, bringing in new forms of art. He is known as the first person in Chinese sand painting.

在艺术道路上，他孜孜以求，大胆创新，独创彩色沙画，推动了沙画的发展，创作了大量优秀的沙画作品，并收获了众多荣誉。曾受邀为200多家世界顶级企业创作作品。在沙画艺术的推广与沙画教育方面，他同样付出了艰辛的努力，做了大量的实践与总结的工作，是第一位，也是目前唯一一位构建了完整的沙画理论体系的艺术家，为沙画艺术的发展作出了重要贡献。

Mr. Su Dabao has been invited to create works for more than 200 world's top companies. He also contributed great efforts in the promotion of sand painting art and the sand painting education. He is the first and only one who has built a complete theoretical system of sand painting. 

2015年，苏大宝先生的作品《丝路》登上万众瞩目的中央电视台春节联欢晚会，这是沙画艺术第一次登上中国最具影响的舞台，具有里程碑的意义。

2016年9月，苏大宝被聘为中央党校一带一路百人论坛文化委员会委员；苏大宝沙画艺术国际交流中心在北京集典美术馆挂牌，苏大宝受聘担任集典美术馆馆长、艺术总监。

2017年1月，苏大宝艺术馆在惠州正式落成；苏大宝受邀参加中央电视台元旦晚会。

In 2015, Mr. Su Dabao's work “Silk Road” was on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, which was the first time that the art of sand painting was performed on the most influential stage in China.

In September 2016, Su Dabao became a member of the Central Party School One Belt One Road 100 Forum Cultural Committee; Su Dabao Sand Painting Art International Exchange Center was listed in the Beijing Jidian Art Gallery, and Mr. Su Dabao himself was appointed as the curator and artistic director of the Jidian Art Gallery.

In January 2017, Su Dabao Art Museum was officially completed in Huizhou.

在他看来，沙画艺术雅俗共赏，与大众有着天然的亲近感，将逐渐成为一门普及的艺术门类，为丰富人们的精神文化生活，传播优秀的传统文化艺术做出了应有的、积极的贡献。苏大宝先生不仅是一位潜心研究学问、积极开拓进取的艺术家，也是一位具有使命感、责任感的践行者。

近年来，苏大宝先生致力于青少年沙画艺术教育，与中国人民大学附属中学朝阳实验学合作，设立沙画教育基地，并专门针对青少年开设沙画教育课程。

In recent years, Mr. Su Dabao has devoted himself to the sand painting art education of young people in China, and in this perspective cooperated with Chaoyang High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China to set up a sand painting education base and provide special sand painting courses for young people.

作为丝绸之路城市联盟的文化大使，苏大宝先生对“丝路青年梦想汇”大力支持，他将从独特的艺术视角对艺术类作品进行点评，我们期待苏大宝先生为本次活动带来更加精彩的现场体验。
