Not far from the capital of Rome, there is a famousancient town named Narni(Terni), which is not only a famous tourist attractionin Italy, but also a famous wine garden, La Madeleine. The winery’s owner isthe left-wing leader of Europe, a former Prime Minister of Italy and Mr.Massimo D’Alema. Now, in addition to running for the left-wing coalition of theEuropean Union, he and his wife, Professor Linda, have devoted all theirenergies to growing grapes and making wine, and won praise from Italy’s wineindustry.
The winery produced four kinds of carefully brewedwines by using all grapes of La Madeleine’s under the guidance of Mr. D’Alema’sfriend, Italian famous winemaker Riccardo Cotarella, according to thecharacteristics of all grape varieties. It is a special wine blending historywith present time made in honor of our friends of the Silk Road Ark, uniquelydedicated to your tasting pleasure.

The Company adheres to the Italian Wine ProjectResearch Team (WRT). WRT is a group that believes it is an Italy of wine in thevalue of scientific research and shares it in order to produce wine with verylow sulfites that they did a technical course with the utmost respect for grapeintegrity and their transformation. All with the aim to get even better wines,healthy and sustainable because wine is always modern and ancient source ofpleasure.
VINIFICATION
Rigorous selection of grapes and hand picking andgrape harvest in boxes of 5kg; treatment according to the protocol WRT and useof yeasts selected bu the WRT team. Vinification at a controlled temperaturereduction.
THE WINE
Deep red with notable purple reflections; smellgreat hints of ripe red fruit, amplitude and great olfactory persistence; tastegreat structure and great softness; the tannins are ripe and silky.

GRAPE AND VIEYARD
At an altitude of 200 meters above sea level, wegrow our Pinot Noir grapes with which we produce this classic method sparking rosé.The altitude of the vineyard, and his exposure, allow us to obtain grapes withvarietal characteristics which reach a perfect maturity in the first days ofSeptember.
VINIFICATION
Grapes are harvested in small boxes of 10kg each,they are immediately fermented in cold. We do maceration in press for 12 hoursin order to obtain the color onion skin. The wine that we get is started forsparkling wine according to the traditional method, making fermentation inbottle.
THE WINE
The color of our Nerosé is said as onion skin,perlage is fine and very persistent. Aroma is rich and floral, in great balancewith hints of bread crust and outsourced. The taste is full, the foam is creamyin the mouth, has a great flavor with a smooth and silky final.

GRAPE AND VIEYARD
In the farm, which extends for about 15 hectares inthe municipality of Narni, we have identified and selected an area that has theideal characteristics for the production of a great Cabernet Franc.
VINIFICATION
The good practice in the vineyard, including thethinning of bunches, are all aimed to achieve a production between 700 and 900grams of grapes per plant. Grapes are selected individually before starting thevinification which requires a drain of 20% and a long period of maceration.
THE WINE
The typical characters of Cabernet Franc, joined tothe territory of origin which contributes significantly to their exaltation,are highly and typical expressed. The color is intense, complex aroma isfollowed by a wraparound style with determinate tannins but graceful.

GRAPE AND VINEYARD
The Vineyard is located in the municipality ofOtricoli at an altitude of 180-200 metres above the sea level, northeastsouthwest, it has a loam soil.
VINEFICATION
Grapes are immediately transported in the cellarand working, fermentation takes place in steel for the first 7 days, then itfinishes in barriques. Malolactic fermentation is done in barrels the followingspring, after that there is an-other wood aging on the less for 8 month. Afterthe bottling, this wine faces a period of aging in bottle for 12 months.
TASTING NOTES
The color of the wine is bright garnet red, on thenose is spiced with delicate aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and red fruits. Ittaste soft with a good acidic spine, tannins are silky and very bright, allthis suggests a great evolution in the bottle.
