Supported by the Ministry of Commerce,Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the CyberspaceAdministration of China (Office of Information Development), the ChinaInternational Electronic Commerce Expo is co-hosted by the China International ElectronicCommerce Center, China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and People’s Governmentof Yiwu City. It shows intensively the latest achievements of e-commerceR&D and application at home and abroad, the latest technologies andproducts, as well as enterprises of the full e-commerce industrial chainincluding e-commerce platforms, financial payment, logistics and expressdelivery, smart products, e-commerce in rural areas and excellent onlineproducts. It has become the first choice for domestic e-commerce enterprises toconduct image display, new products introduction, trade negotiations andinformation spreading. After continuous exploration andexperience-accumulation, the Expo has taken the lead in size, level andachievements among peers. It has been awarded as “China Top 10 Expos” for yearsin a row.
Themed with “New Era for E-commerce, NewMomentum for Trade”, the 2018 China International Electronic Commerce Expo willset up 2,000 exhibition booths with international standards in an exhibition areaof 50,000 ㎡ into ten display areas, including FamousE-commerce Platform Area, Cross-border E-commerce Area, New Retail Area,E-commerce Demonstration City/Base/Enterprises area, CommunityE-commerce/Mobile Internet Area,E-commerce Service Enterprises Area, Area ofE-commerce in Rural Areas, Smart Products Area, Belt and Road Initiative Areaand Top-brand Online Products Area. It is expected that 140,000 audiences willattend the event.

★High-levelForum on “Electronic Trade Facilitation”
On the main forum of the Expo, top-levelcomprehensive service platforms of foreign trade, information technologyservice providers, logistic service providers and other representatives will beinvited to have a dialogue with officials from customs and inspection andquarantine to explore how to take advantage of “the multiplier” of informationtechnology to close the gap of information exchange among departments andimprove China’s trade facilitation.
★Special“Belt and Road Initiative Area” to exchange with cross-border e-commerceplatforms
To actively respond to the national “Beltand Road Initiative”, develop close economic and trade links with countries andregions along the “Belt and Road”, the “Belt and Road Initiative Area” isspecially established in this Expo, which will effectively guide cross-bordere-commerce to better take advantage of the Initiative and thus improve the fulle-commerce industrial chain of cross-border e-commerce.
★“New Retail Area” is added to stimulate the upgrade of traditional retailenterprises
In 2017, “New Retail” has attractedattention of the retail industry; therefore the Expo follows the new trend ofe-commerce to add the new retail exhibition area in order to stimulatetraditional retailers to upgrade and transform.
